I would like to thank everyone who took the time to participate in this project. I ended up with many great designs to choose from and I'll definitely recommend this site to others in my business network.

    Thanks everyone.

I like the blue backgrounds that have been used recently with a white logo and white text but I don't yet know if I'll end up choosing a two color design or 3 color design.

There's still a lot of time left in this competion. If I could also see some more designs using more abstract logos (draft #87 being a good example) that would be cool. The winning design won't necessarilly use a logo that clearly shows a "B" or "BM".

    Thanks.

I would like future designs to avoid using the circle and sphere type logo designs.

    Thanks.

I want to add for good measure that the type of pixel effect that was added in draft #49 was added by my own suggestion so experimenting with the pixelation element is encuraged although I'm not looking for a design that has pixelation as the fundamental aspect.

Some of the drafts now contain the word "Entertainment" which I didn't originally specify but now I'm considering keeping it so feel free to try designs with and without it.

    Thanks.

jvisual flow, please withdraw all of your entries before I report you. Everything from #19 on is a direct representation of my drafts, same knock out 3d of a B and M, same exact font. Same font width differentiation. Out of respect, withdraw

Hi everyone and thanks for all the designs.

I've been comparing font styles for a while and for future entries I would like the font to be small caps like for instance the one used in draft #9.

    Thanks.

I would like to add that as a general rule straight lines beat curves here. I prefer that straight lines are dominant in the design because it better symbolizes the digital nature of the company. Mixing in some degree of curvature can be good though, since it can add a bit more artictic spice to the design. The company is in the creative business after all.

I'll also add that I haven't decided yet if I want the company name to be in the same color or divided into two colors with a sharp split between the colors in the middle of the name. I prefer to see suggestions using both options to compare. If I do end up choosing single-colored text then I'll likely go for very bright text, maybe with a very very faint glow to it. I don't want blurry text after all.

    Hi 9bitesdesign.

Nice logo suggestions. Thanks for the variations too. That will let me try to guide you all better as I rate them. I hadn't thought about using a yellow-greenish color like you tried but it definitely has a cool look to it. Good effort. This doesn't mean that everyone should use that color.

BTW, I've decided that I don't want you guys to use any red colors in the designs. Thanks.

    Hi zalds.

Good questions. I will be using the logo for everything from company t-shirts to website design to business cards. I hadn't initially thought about specifying whether or not I wanted a background to use for the website and maybe for business cards as well but I have to admit that the backgrounds used in some of 9bitesdesign's and jVisualFlow's designs do look cool and impressed me. I won't require you to make a complicated background but if you have an idea that you think will really impress me because it just looks awesome and represents the logo really well then by all means impress me. I haven't started working on the graphical design of the website / business cards yet so I am definitely open to suggestions for backgrounds. The BioWare website (http://www.bioware.com) has a great example of a cool background for the website and logo. I prefer you don't use bright backgrounds.

I will be actively eliminating some of the suggestions that I don't really feel have the coolness factor about them or where I thing the font is too far from what I want. It's fine if you decide to be creative with your font design as long as it's easy to read the company name.
