    nekaira,

I do like what you've done with the lines on either side of "service", but I'm pretty far along with another design at this point.

mdsgrafix, thanks for all the options. I appreciate it. I'll digest and discuss these, and let you know which we like.

mdsgrafix, Could you please capitalize the first letters of Central and Vacuum with the same fonts as #37 and #36. I've seen it all lower case, so I want to see it with first letter caps.

    Thanks!

mdsgrafix, thanks for all of the options. Im narrowing them down.

I'm concerned about how this will look in print without the 3d effect. Could you shoot me over a #23 in black and white? Thanks!

mdsgrafix, could you also provide a sample with the entire "house" too, please.

    Thanks

mdsgrafix, The overlap of #31 doesn't work, but the vertical height does. I like the bottom edge of "service" justified to the bottom of the circle. So, the way that the wording is in #23 but lower, like #31.

    Thanks again

McClaura, #30 is better than #29, but the curvy font is not doing it for me - too difficult to read, and I prefer a simple, clean font, like arial for example. Also, the house is too obviously a house. I would like a more symbolic type thing. All that said, I like your other work, so I think you should take another crack at it. Thanks for submitting your ideas!

mdsgraphix, #28 might not be great for print and the lettering on my van, but I like it. Could you show it in B&W?

LittleMonster, I'm afraid that the bar has been raised a bit by #23 and #28. Some type of icon is needed. Thanks!

    Everyone:

Web 2.0 seems like the look that is appealing to me. Although, the logo will be used in print and truck lettering as well as my website.

mdsgrafix, Re: #23 Yes! Now we are getting somewhere! Thanks for responding to my feedback. Please try to move the "central vacuum" to overlap the light blue circle, so that the words line up with the same part of the house as #18.

    GOOD WORK!

mdsgrafix, Thanks again. I still like #18 best. Could you try some different fonts, colors, color combos with that design?

Sure thing, had a busy weekend, looking to get back on it today.

mdsgrafix, thanks for the updates. #13 and #18 are in - the swirl is out.

I'm undecided about if putting "service" under (central vacuum) is better or not, or if just changing the color or font weight (bold vs not) or style would be better.

If you could provide some variations of #13 and #18 that would be great.

LittleMonster, could you provide some variations of #3 - fonts, colors, caps.

Everyone: Please try to make the word "service" a different font or color or size or put it on a different line. Somehow make it different than "central vacuum". Thanks!

    * The initials CVS are out. Please don't use initials.

mdxgrafix: I like both #13 & #14. You have managed to incorporate a house without it being cheesy. Good job. Could you refine/expand on those? Also, try to make the word "service" a different font or color, or size, or put it on a different line. Somehow make it different than "central vacuum". Thanks!

otakatik, I like your work, but the use of the initials "CVS" is out.

Rather than trying to get the idea of central vacuum across, it might be better to convey the things that I really want to get across to my clients, "We respond very quickly. We are sticklers for detail; in other words, we are perfectionists. We love our work. We can be trusted." If we (you) can convey that in my logo that would be great.

    No initials please.

Otakatik, I do however like the idea of trying to get a vacuum hose into the logo, but it should be more subtle. Allusions to houses and/or vacuum hose is OK if done right.
Our vacuum cleaners are built right into people's homes, so it is a word picture. I just don't want it to be to "old school" and hoaky.

    Thanks for your submissions!

Otakatik, thanks for submitting your ideas, but because of the pharmacy "CVS" I think staying away from using the initials would be best.

Awesome! I'll keep working on some ideas and post them as I get them.

LM, thanks for breaking the ice! As rough concepts, I like #2 & #3. If you want to try some variations, and other things similar, that would be helpful.

I'll try to be more specific when we hone in on something, but as of right now, thanks for your efforts!

Hi Everyone, I can't wait to see your designs.

A clarifying point: A central vacuum is a type of vacuum that is built into a house, as opposed to a portable type of vacuum cleaner. Therefore, the words "central" and "vacuum" should be together (same font/color/line etc)

It's: central vacuum, service - not: central, vacuum service. (The comma doesn't belong in the logo. It's just showing where the pause is)

    Thanks!
