Draft #47 by sandycreative is a derivative of #29 by pichuuu, therefore ha been taken down.

I love #8 - using the gold tees to create the 'M' is really clever.

#27. Format is right, but I don't like the "M" graphic. Sorry, can't explain why I don't like it; it just doesn't feel right.

#26. Nice simple graphic, but too many different shades of colour and not sure what the thinking is behind the long "T".

The designs should concentrate on having a graphic and a text that can be split if necessary. I am favouring the graphic hinging on the letter "M". I really like #6.

Here are some well known brands (with links to graphic) that illustrate this concept well:
    Lexus http://www.creationstudioproductions.com/news/lexus-presentation

    Motorola

Is the design by design feedback useful or would people prefer more general direction, hopefully narrowing down the criteria specifics over the course of the project term?

#15. See feedback for #11. The golf ball "O" is just too obvious and doesn't convey the innovation that I would like to have associated with the Motora Golf brand.

#10. I like this design. Simple, bold and creative use of golf paraphernalia.

#11. Too many varying tones. I prefer bold block colour.

#12. I like the abstract design behind the font and can see this logo being used on both product and website. The injection of a little colour works well here.

    #13. See feedback for #2.

#14. Similar to #6 but just does not quite capture that golf essence now that the ball and the freestyle "M" no longer have any real relationship.

#8. Daniel I really like your use of golf icons to build the graphic and the format is fast becoming a favourite i.e. a graphic and text that can be easily separated when necessary.

#9. The design is striking yet simple, but I feel the golf ball "O" is perhaps a little too obvious.

Thank you all for the early responses to this project. Here is some feedback for each design submitted:

#1. The format has potential as I could easily include the logo in its entirity on the website and separate the text from the graphic for product branding. However, the putting golfer is a little too obvious and I am looking for something a little more original.

#2. The format once again works well, but the graphic does not have the creativity that I am looking for.

#3. This design format is not working for me as the graphic and the print cannot be separated. Admittedly this is not a fundamental requirement, but this particular design is to bulky/blocky and does not lend itself to being utilised in multiple ways, but primarily product branding and website.

#4. The design concept is good and once again lends itself nicely to the multiple uses required. However, the graphic looks more like an "N" than an "M" to me.

#6. I really like this design for a number of reasons. I like the simplicity. I like the fact that once again the graphic can be easily split from the text. I like the creativity of the graphic showing a bouncing golf ball to make the "M". I would like to see some more variations of this design please danielwatson, varying the font style.

#7. I appreciate the thought behind this concept by incorporating the logo into a golf ball shape, but it lacks that design flare that I am looking for.

I hope the feedback is helpful and can help move this project in the right direction. I realise that it is not always easy to translate the written word (especially when it is expressed as one person's opinion), into a design concept and am of course happy to answer any questions that might help you to share my vision.
