44 - the shockwave/circle look makes sense... I wonder if it could be done in a different way and with a different aftershock?

    Maybe something more illustrative?

FYI Designers - we like the idea of a "crack" like an earthquake more than the lightening bolt look of a shock...

Keeen - still like all of your designs quite a bit. I'm personally still drawn the most to 18, but there is the before-mentioned symbol misinterpretations to think about.

33 was well received overall, and it was nice to see some variation. Don't know if the symbol, while very fun and youthful, is unique/creative enough.

Still like the "aftershock" and colors a lot in number 30 (more than 46). Love how it looked like a plate that slid. The symbol is nice looking with the 3d feel, but too abstract. Maybe a creative "a" "s", ritcher scale or kids, etc?

We still like a lot of the 3-star logos, but our favorites are 40 and 43. 40 is so strong and professional looking. 43 is fun and youthful, popular with those we've showed it to for opinions. The only question we have is how we'd do the building signage with it, which we think we could work through if needed.

Excited about what you all have put out - so much talent. With a day left it would be fun to see some that are completely different for variation. Thank you everyone for your time and efforts!

#11 we like the look of aftershock, but the star probably wouldn't work for us. Another symbol maybe?

Hi all! Was buying this soundtrack today, and really like the logo. Thought I'd put up the link...

Thank you everyone! We initially were looking for a very illustrative/cartoonish/playful logo, and would still love to see one. However, we are really liking some of these creative but more serious looking ones as well!

#29/#30 is so creative with the "aftershock" looking like it slide. Really like that. We have mixed reviews on the symbol. Some are saying it looks too much like a mountain.

We like #16 and #32 as well. Some feedback we're receiving about #16 is that it could accidently read "after hock". #32 is neat too, but I'd like to see a little different "gymnastics sportsplex"... maybe longer.

We'd be interested in seeing draft #18 without the "head". It would also be great to see #18 with the circle closed like #17 and as is just minus the "head".

Still like the "a" and "s" in the symbol, but still are getting the "is it a person sitting down" question, and we have to show them the "a" and "s" for them to get it...

Definitely getting there everyone - thank you!

Chack: Someone asked us if the line could be a little person flipping, landing and then the "aftershock" from the landing being the richer scale??

Keen: Really loved your logos. A little more serious, but for how cool it is we don't mind. :-)

We got some feedback that it looks like someone riding a motorcycle more than sports or gymnastics... don't know if that is fixable or not.

We still like it a lot though!

Mazyo2x - Liked the creative S and O designs. Would be interested in seeing them with additional fonts. Creative "O"s are good because our sub-programs begin with "Power" (aka, powerkids, powertots, etc.) and we could use the "o" in those sub-logos to tie it all in).

JOrlick - We are really liking the newest font. The logo is one of the favorites among our group.

THANK YOU EVERYONE... can't wait to see more...

Draft #3 - is it possible to do it in a font similar to this one? http://gymnasticscoaching.com/new/wp-content/uploads/2011/01/Rio-logo.jpg

#6 on the right track! Thank you...

#4 so fun looking, and like the colors. Just looking for a little more specific on one or all the main themes of "aftershock", gymnastics or kids.

    Draft #5

    Thank you for participating!

Stands out nicely. A little too primary of colors. Would work great for the teens, but not as well/as fun for the younger kids?

Thank you designers for working on this logo project. We appreciate your ideas and creativity...

Overall, we need the designs to fit into the children's range a little more (tricky, because we can't isolate the teens either). Here is an example of a recent ad drop to show what we mean:

    https://picasaweb.google.com/alison.panisello/Summer2011DayCampAdDrop#5595102202711890226

Cheerleading logos (from a google image search) are good examples of the high energy look/"cool" for kids look we are searching for.

The blues we like are less primary - lighter and more vibrant (kind of like on the microburst logo)...

    1. Shockwaves and richter scale could be fun... has some possibilities. Colors are a bit dark. Would need to translate to signage and embroidery. Must be attractive to the preschool-preteen age group. I think the older kids would like this, but it may not fit as well into a younger-based ad campaign as is. Would be interested to see things shifted around.

    2. I like how illustrative it looks, and the "after" font is kind of cool. I'm not certain it could work on signage and embroidery, so that might be tricky, but we could work around it if the logo was a really cool illustrative one. The "shock" is a little too graffiti looking (we're a mostly girls program). It looks a little scary for little ones in the program. Would love to see a revision though...

    3. LOVE the creativity with the richter scale off the "k". Not in love with the font - a little thin and not super easy to read. Maybe a little more vibrant colors too to be attractive to kids and parents.

    4. Has an element of fun to it, which we like. Not our favorite font.
