O.K. This should be my last post. We are very happy with each of the final works. It is so very difficult selecting ONE at this point.

I have just reviewed the section on the website talking about file formats and a couple of you have already commented on how many you will provide.

Just so that we are one the same page I would like to have the winning logo in the colors you have presented as well as in the B/W in case I do not print it in color at some point. Here are the formats this site recommends I get from the designer:

.AI and/or .FH: Adobe Illustrator and FreeHand – PMS/CMYK
    .EPS: Encapsulated Postscript - CMYK
.PDF: Portable Document File - CMYK
    .PSD: Photoshop Document - RGB
.PNG: Portable Network Graphics - RGB
.JPG: Joint Photographic Experts Group - RGB
.GIF: Graphic Interchange Format - RGB
.TIF: Tagged Image File Format – CMYK

All the designs with 5 stars are finalists. one of the things i'd also like to see with each of them is what they would look like in plain black and white print. thank you for these great submissions!

I really like the direction this project is going a thank all the designers for adapting as we go. This really is a great service you are providing.

The addition of the actual sharpening wheel to some of the designs are exciting. I love how # 27 has the text inside the wheel. I love how #20 and 41 display the ACTION of sharpening. While #9,15, and 19 have modern interpretations of the stone/wheel idea.

I am confident this logo will be great and transfer nicely into the stationary project after this.

So how about an old, worn, time tested sharpening wheel with all it's stories locked away? The couple that with some faded, rough hewn wooden, or hand forged iron lettering??

Sort of a medieval or old-west craftsmen feel?

    # 2, #4 and # 5 all have a feel of motion in the circle/wheel part of the logo and that is great.

As I review the great submissions thus far I am wondering if the 27-17 Consulting text can be laid over a sharpening wheel (either faded or subtle so that the text really pops)
