Thank you very very much Sir for making me the winner!

Thank you all for participating. It is unfortunate that there have been three plagiarizers submitting derivative works owned by others. Those 3 have been categorically eliminated from the contest.

As for the rest, thank you for your participation! Congratulations to the winner:
    kinghridoy's draft #39

psychoteck: Draft #58 and Draft #60 are plagiarized works of your own! You cannot provide a customer with the same logo sold to another! Your "Anywhere" computer design was already "Won" as per your home profile.

Draft #27 and #28: Thank you for trying a different direction! This one doesn't appeal to me, though. Maybe try something else?

Sir you can eliminate #22 and plz rate #23

  • June 30, 2011 11:31 PM kinghridoy

    Sorry Sir!
there's a little spot under the border of #22
So I've created a smooth logo which is #23

I hope you get my point.

    Thanks,

    Just some more feedback:
Draft #14 and draft #8 are evenly the most popular amongst my friends, so far.

I would be very interested to see something completely different from these two for consideration. Something with an open form, as opposed to closed shapes? I keep mentioning "neural networks", but sadly no one has put in a design incorporating that concept.

The more options that you provide me for consideration, the better your chances for winning this contest. If I like the direction you're going with a concept, then I will let you know what changes would make it perfect for me. Please take my feedback and use it. It is for both our benefits! :-)

    Thanks.

kinghridoy, I like what you did for Reddelcom. Abstract, symbolic. I like metallic and glass-like icons. I like it when there is some dimension to the image. :-)

Draft #13 is cool, but not quite the message I'd like the logo to portray. Please keep in mind that GAIuS is an app for artificial intelligence. So, as inspiration use things like thinking machines, neural networks, machine evolution, etc. I hope that helps!

kinghridoy, can you give me another design? I'm not getting great feedback on this one. (Someone thought it looks like the AT&T logo.)

9bitesdesign, can you make the requested changes to #5 & #8? These have good feedback from people, but without those tweaks, I can't use either one.

    Thanks!

#12 pick up one color that you would like to be used on your logo and then I'll finalize the design.

    Thanks,

Draft #10 is really nice. (Although, your original color choice was very beautiful. Too bad it made people think of tennis balls.) I eliminated draft #11 because it really needs the silver arches. Can you add a glass-like effect to it?

Draft #9: Just got a comment from a friend that it looks like an ad for Wimbledon. ;-) Can you change the tennis ball color to something else?

Draft #9: Beautiful. I don't know what useful criticism to provide! Can I also see a version with a glass-like interior?

Drafts #8 and #5: can you also change the font to look more like draft #7?

  • June 28, 2011 10:27 AM sevakprime

Draft #8: Almost there! 2 things to change:
    1) The angle of the blue rays looked better in draft #5.
    2) The hexagons need to be positioned and aligned better to each other. Maybe make them a little bigger, too?

Draft #5: I'd like to compare this against #8. Would you fix the size of the blue circles so that they are the same?

Draft #7 is more along the lines of what I was looking for. Nice attempt! Can you add more dimension to it and give it a more polished glass-like look? Adding network lines inside would help communicate the message of GAIuS, too.

Draft #5 is very cool! You're almost there. The font looks much better and glass effects look great. Can you try changing the blue circles into hexagons and match their sizes a bit better? (The left-most circle looks much smaller than the other two.)

Draft #4: I love the font. ("s" should be capital "S" in GAIuS.) I like the way the G is incorporated into the design. 2 criticisms on it, though: 1) The planetary motif has nothing to do with artificial intelligence. (Instead, think along the lines of networks and evolution for GAIuS.) 2) The design is going to be used as a desktop icon and web logo. This will never appear on a business card. This design is to simple for a desktop icon. (Think of an app icon for an iPhone or Android device.)

Draft #3 is a bit to business-card like for a software icon. Can't see it translating nicely to a desktop icon. BUT, I very much like the way you made the G look like a face. Very clever!

Draft #2 is nice, but a bit plain. Not edgy enough.

Draft #1 is beautiful and my favorite so far! I think this is really cool and edgy. The font looks a little weird, though. Maybe work on balancing the line thicknesses? Also, polish up the orange orb a bit to make it look more glass-like and as if it has depth?
