    Finalist: raymondcarls,mirebus, and TokNgulu.

Hello gentlemen, congratulations on making it to the finals. You've all done a great job and we appreciate all of your hard work and creativity. I will be sending each of you the final revisions using the private message system. Prior to that I need each of you to send me a private message describing the software you used to construct your designs (we need to make sure we have the same software available in order to save it under different file formats). Also, please provide a list of the type of files you will provide if you're chosen as the winner of this contest and how soon it will take you to provide the master files.
As a reminder, we will only choose 2 designs to receive the 5 star rating. We will then choose one designer from the final two as the winner of the contest.
Good luck to all of you. *NOTE: It is critical for all finalist to answer the questions above. Thank you!

    Best Regards,
    Andrew

mirebus #167: We were not going to consider any other designs/designers as stated in my earlier post. Your design however, captivated us, excellent design! When I discussed my "Star" rating system I had originally stated that only 4 designs would make it to 4 stars and only 2 would make it to 5 stars and we would pick the winner based on those 2 final designs. Thus far you are one of three designs we've chosen to receive this 4 star rating, good job! There are some changes we require if you want to continue in the competition and we need them rather soon.
    1. Please correct the spelling of "perlinski & company". You have a "Y" at the end of "perlinski" which should be changed to an "I".
    2. Please change the font to lowercase "Century Gothic".
    3. The "perlinski & company" portion of your design should be in three colors: #003366, white, and black.
    4. Please submit said design on three backgrounds: 1. The background you've already chosen for your first entry. 2. Black background with white font. 3. White background with black font. 4. White background with #003366 font.
    5. Please minimize (make smaller) the image contained in your entry. *The image should be the same size as #155&156.
    6. Please submit a version of the logo shown on #169

Thank you for your participation in this contest. It is important for us to receive these revisions in a timely manner for us to decide the final two designs. Thank you!

TokNgulu & raymondcarls: CONGRATULATIONS gentlemen you are the finalist!!!! One of your designs will be chosen as the winner of this contest. I am aware that both of your designs are quite similar but the reason for this has been my detailed direction to the both of you, not one designer copying from another, I simply wanted to see a similar version of said design from two separate designers. When I envisioned what our logo would look like when we started this contest both of your designs have met my highest expectations and I thank you both. We will take the next few hours to closely examine each entry. We will then have one final set of revisions. I will send a message to each of you individually with detailed directions to the changes we would like to see no later than this afternoon. *NOTE: TokNgulu: please send me a direct message so I can respond to you privately. raymondcarls: We have already corresponded through the message system and I will send you any required revisions privately as well.

As you will note, I've eliminated all designs & designers except for the two of you and your latest entries. We are no longer accepting new designs/entries from any other designers.

Good luck to the two of you, this will be an extremely tough decision as both of your are incredibly talented and regardless of who ultimately wins both of you will have bright careers ahead.

Thanks again gentlemen, and good luck!

gacko: Thank you for your participation but we have narrowed the field to two final designers: raymondcarls & TokNgulu. We appreciate your work and creativity but we are no longer accepting new entries. Thank you once again, you are very talented and I wish you the best with your future designs. Thanks again!

#133&134: PHENOMINAL! Very, very, very good. Please upload some examples where the font on "perlinski & company" is a solid #003366 on a white background and and pure white font on a black background. Can you also provide some of the smaller examples of the logo you provided on #96: meaning the white, black, gray etc. for printing, marketing materials, business cards... just as you had on that particular example. Thank you, you're design is the front runner, great job!

#130: Very nice design, thank you for the submission. The image seems as though it's tipping over. Can you please arrange it like #103? Also please make sure that the "perlinski & company" portion of the design is NOT in bold. Can we see a version one version of the "perlinski & company" portion in black font and another in #003366? Thank you, we appreciate it.

    #'s 132&129: Please make these adjustments to these designs;
    1. Take the "horizon" effect from the top right and reconfigure it to look more like #103.
    2. Referring to the silver/gray areas to the right and left of the "P" in the image. Please take away the "white" shine and smooth it over so it is not as bright. Write me a direct message if this does not make sense.
    3. We would like to see the "perlinski & company" portion of the logo in two colors so we can choose which one looks best. Both colors should be solid, please no fading on this portion. Can we see it in a solid #003366 and one in pure black.
    4. Can we see the "perlinski & company" portion with and without a reflection.
    5. Please make sure you provide the logo in a white and black background.
    6. Make sure the primary color on the "P" in the image is #003366.

That should be enough for this revision. We're looking forward to seeing your design with the implemented changes we've outlined, thank you!

#'s 103 & 104: Your latest designs have really captured our attention. You are close to receiving the fourth star once you implement some adjustments to your design. I will review this with the principals and compose a list of changes to said designs. You're doing a great job of following direction as to our needs, thank you!

#86: This looks great, and includes some of the key components we're looking for in a final design; clean, elegant, contemporary, and unique. Please make the following changes to said design: First, please change the font color to #003366. Also, can you make this adjustment to your image, meaning we want the darkest part of the blue to be our primary color: #003366. Please DO NOT make any other changes to the image you've designed, we like the overall feel to it and only want you to make the minor tweaks described above. Let's also see this on a black background. Thanks, and good job!

#73: I've shared all of the remaining designs for feedback with the CEO & COO and they would like for you to remove the graphic above "P&C". Also please remove the ampersand entirely. Can you incorporate the gray I have outlined in the project brief in the image portion of your design. We also liked your previous effect of a "merger" between the "PC". Please incorporate some of the components of #'s 78 & 60. Thanks, I'm interested to see what you come up with!

#75: Nice revision! Can you use #003366 as the base color for the "P" in the image above "perlinski & company". Also please keep "perlinski & company" one solid color and we would like that to be #003366, try using a darker gray for the silver/gray parts of the image.
Can you also add two components to the design, one being a shadow under the image above the company name and the other being a reflection? These should be two separate versions, meaning we do not want to see a reflection & a shadow on the same image. Thank you.

#'s 77 & 76: Although I like the effect of having the "PC" look as though it's in the background I think the reflection & shadow are too much. Can we see this same design with just a shadow and one with just a reflection? Also on the version with the white background can you darken the "perlinski & company", perhaps just use #003366. Thanks, this is looking really good!

*ALL DESIGNERS: I wanted to discuss the decision process on star allocation for each design. The highest number of stars I've used thus far is 3. Even if you've received 1 star this is NO reflection on your creativity or design. I want to use the star system as a tool (along with detailed feedback)to alert the designers if they are on the right track or not. It has nothing to do with the aesthetic value of your designs and is in no way an indication of your talent or creativity. Below is an explanation of what the stars mean to me and how I'm using them to review your work. I hope this makes sense to all of you. Remember, I'm here to help in anyway possible, if you have any questions either post them in this forum or send me a private message.

If you've received 1 star this means that we like you initial design but would like to a number of added effects or changes. If you receive 2 stars this means require a few changes or would like to see other versions of said design. If you've received 3 stars this means you're on the right track to the overall look and feel that we ultimately want in our final design. If you reach 4 stars your among the top 4 designs we will consider for our final selection. 5 stars will only be allocated to the top 2 designs, one of which will be chosen as the winner.
NOTE: Regardless of the amount of stars you receive I will always provide timely feedback as to any changes which we would like to see. If you have any further questions please post to this forum or send me a message directly, thanks!

#56: Thank you for your participation in this project. Your design is truly unique, and we would like to see further revisions. Please add some dynamic 3D elements to your initial design. Also, please provide a version without the slogan, we have not yet decided whether or not we will use the slogan in the final version. Instead of a yellow background please only submit versions in white & black/blue. Thanks again!

#60 & 63: Thank you for your participation on this project, you're obviously very talented. I'm looking forward to seeing more of your work!
Can you please change the font for all versions of "perlinski & company" to lowercase "Century Gothic". We are impressed with both your designs but #60 really captured our imagination. We would like to see a more refined version of #60 with the font changes requested along with #003366 as the base color for the "P" in the image above "perlinski & company". Thanks again, looking forward to seeing your next set of designs. You are only the 3rd designer to receive 3 stars. Thank you!
