| Portland Diaper Co. is a cloth diaper service based in the city of Portland, Oregon. I chose this name because I want to service families that primarily live in the city. Plus, I chose this name because I feel like Portland is naturally associated with "green" practices, which is a centerpiece for my business. My one competitor (tideediddee) has been in the market for over 50 years so I am looking to brand myself as a modern competitor. Initially, I am only offering cloth diapers, but I hope to venture into compostable diapers in the future. I'd like my company to be seen as hip, urban and green even though the name is a bit stodgy.
