With following text: Vreny Van Elslande 1776 N. Sycamore Ave, #319 Los Angeles, CA 90028 vreny@zotzinmusic.com 310-902-0993 "Gift Certificate for Guitar & Music Lessons. The person who gives you this card, must love you very much or be a great friend because… You’ve just been given an opportunity to take __ guitar lessons with one of the best guitar & music instructors in L.A. You’re about to embark upon a very fun musical journey. Looking forward working with you in my studio. Vreny. :) Fax cover page T-Shirt E-mail Signature template. I also need the letterhead in an MS Word Template, in addition to all the usual, known formats. Lastly: I also need a nicely designed email template to send to prospect clients. I need to be able to 1) customize the template text (i.e. fill in the the name to the person I am sending the email to) 2) import that template into my mac mail program as a signature. 3) I need it to look really nice and fun to read, with a nice background or graphics, or anything you think would make the long text a very fun read. the text for that sales email template follows here: (I will also try to upload this text as a MS Word file and PDF. Hopefully Mycroburst will let me do this. Dear , Thank you for your interest in studying guitar with me. Here's some info on my teaching approach, experience and rates. Since I typically get asked about rates first, let me tackle this information first. My rates are very fair and affordable for the level of education offered, through the faster and stronger (time & money saving) progress you will experience under higher quality instruction. 1. I charge $50 an hour, which is the going rate for guitar instructors at this level of teaching and experience. 2. I also offer discount plans: 1. Sign up and pay upfront for a 10-week plan, and you only pay the price for 9 lessons and get the 10th lesson FREE + a $20 bonus discount. You save $70. This knocks lesson cost down from 50 to only $43 a lesson: a great savings. 2. Sign up for a 20-lesson plan, and you only pay $800. You get 4 lessons for FREE!!! Lessons only cost $40 an hour then. This is fair and affordable for the level of education offered because the higher the quality of instruction and the more experienced the teacher, the faster you progress and hence the more money you end up saving. Lesser experienced instructors are lesser confident, hence charge less, but also end up costing you much more because it takes them longer to adequately communicate lesson material and to develop your talent and skills (If you are lucky enough that they actually HAVE lesson material already prepared). :) You can read on Yelp what people think and say about my teaching: http://www.yelp.com/biz/vrenys-guitar-lessons-los-angeles One of the reasons why I am one of the busiest guitar instructors in LA is the progress my students make. Here are some more student testimonials: http://vreny.com/student-testimonials You will get the same amount of work done and achieve the same progress in 1 lesson, which you would need to take at least 2 lessons for with another instructor, regardless of your playing level or abilities. This is not some sales pitch: these actually are opinions and words from students of mine who studied with other instructors before they studied with me, and who acknowledged they wasted so much time and money with the inexperienced $35 an hour instructor. Studying with someone who can get you to learn much more, much faster with much lesser effort... is always a huge money saver. Whatever stage you're at in your playing: good progress gives you a strong feeling of achievement, which results in you having more fun learning and playing guitar. Strong progress makes you want to learn even more, and makes you want to spend even more time with your guitar. In other words: the faster a student improves, the more fun he/she experiences playing and learning guitar/music. I currently teach about 40 students whom I meet with every week. Here's the really important info though: Some of the reasons why YOU will progress much faster than students of most any other guitar/music-teacher: 1) Your lessons are personalized to achieve your musical dreams, goals, taste, needs, etc. Whatever YOU want to work on is what we are going to be working on. 2) You will have a lot of fun studying with me. I am very patient and I always create a very fun, relaxed environment for the people who study with me. People learn new things much faster when they feel safe, cared for, and in good company. 3) I also always make sure that my students have fun with their guitar, and get to play their favorite songs in no time (if that is what you would like to do). If you have songs you always wanted to be able to play (but never believed you could), then bring the song on a CD. It only takes me a couple of minutes to figure out entire guitar parts to full songs, EXACTLY as on the album. We can work on your favorite songs right away. You would be surprised how fast you will be able to play your favorite songs. 4) Your lesson time will be used very efficiently. I actually have a teaching plan WITH typed up handouts on pretty much ANY guitar or music topic you can think off. It is a solid, incredibly structured lesson plan that has been developed over many years of guitar teaching and music education. This approach is very organized and structured. Many instructors out there unfortunately improvise lessons and make things up on the spot. This does not exactly help a student. My structured approach is one of the main reasons for the great results you will see happening in your playing under my guidance. 5) You WILL ALWAYS know exactly what to practice on and how to practice, in well-defined exercises that you get on a weekly basis. My students always know what to work on and how it is going to help their playing. Exercises are designed for maximum progress and for fastest realization of your musical dreams and goals. In addition: exercises are never boring, but ALWAYS a simulation of practical real-life music situations. 6) I have quite a unique approach to guitar instruction, which cannot just be explained in a couple of words. You have to study with me to see it (I sound like a sales person now, don't I haha??). :) 7) Guitar lessons are recorded for you. 8) You can always call me 24/7 or video-chat (AIM vreny55) if you have any (lesson) questions. You can find out more about me, my background, listen to my playing, etc. on www.vreny.com There's also an extensive section on my site dedicated to my students. You can check out and contact my students through the links to their websites on my LINKS page, and see photos of some of my students in a dedicated gallery on my GALLERIES page. Te structured nature of this approach is why my students progress faster and learn more about music and guitar in a shorter amount of time than most students of pretty much any other guitar teacher. I don't just teach guitar: I help my students unleash maximum creativity, while developing their talent. I mainly teach in my teaching studio, located in Hollywood. Here's the address for your convenience: 1776 N Sycamore Ave. #319 Los Angeles, CA 90028 Closest intersection: LaBrea Ave - Hollywood Blvd. I’m a 5-minute walk away from the Hollywood-Highland metro stop. Parking is never a problem: my students always call my number or ring my doorbell upon arrival for their scheduled lesson time. As part of my service, I then get my students a parking permit for street parking. If all street parking spots are taken, then the best options are Hollywood Blvd, or the $5 public parking structure down my street, or the $2 Kodak Theater parking structure. All these options are located within a 6-minute walk from my teaching studio. I teach 6-days a week (I try to have 1 day off a week, Friday), from morning till 10pm; so I am sure we'll always be able to figure out a time-spot that will work for you. First lesson: people just pay for that one lesson. Starting their 2nd lesson with me, my students always pay for a full month upfront. I then give a receipt and have the student sign a student-teacher agreement, which is just for that 1 month. I have a 48-hr cancellation policy. You can always rebook your scheduled lessons anytime if I am notified at least 48 hours in advance of your cancellation. All of this is standard procedure with every professional instructor or any music school. The student-teacher agreement is no big deal really... it's just a 1-page letter that goes over things like, lesson cancellations, rebooking policies, rate info, my responsibility as an instructor etc. I have a 48-hour cancellation policy, which is standard practice with all instructors at my level of background and experience. The most important thing is: studying music should be fun and an awesome experience at all times, and that is exactly what I give all my guitar-students. You always want to learn from somebody who walks the road, and is active professionally in the music-industry, because somebody who mainly just teaches music without really being out there as a musician is definitely lacking experience and "street smart" as an instructor. I have an extensive background as a session-player, instructor and performer, television appearances, etc. Graduated Summa Cum Laude with 3 degrees: classical guitar-performance from European conservatory, recording/mix engineer, and contemporary music performance from renowned Berklee College of Music in Boston. I also studied in an advanced 10-week program at Musician Institute in Hollywood. I offer a level of guitar and music education that cost me about 100 grand. My goal as an instructor is to help you have more fun with music and guitar, and to share any of this knowledge you would like, for far less money and in much less time. :) Give me a call if you would like to find out more about me, my approach to guitar instruction, my musical background and training, or if you would like to set up a time to meet for lesson. I'd be glad to talk to you and answer any questions you might still have. 310-902-0993. Call me anytime so we can get this going for you. Kindest Regards, Vreny.

CONGRATS Mr. 4gd!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I chose draft #56 as the winner. I wanted to thank all designers for their great contributions and all your help and great advice. You guys are all awesome. I of course wanted to thank Mr. 4gd in particular from the bottom of my heart for always dealing so gracefully and friendly with my sometimes tough to deal with "Mr. Perfectionist" attitude and way of doing things. haha :) I am super happy with the chosen design. Fantastic work. THANK YOU. Much love to you and your family. Vreny.

@ PH Thank you for your honesty and candor about your likely early decision on the design. I hope all PH's can be as honest and thoughtful. Good luck with your business!!!

It looks like Mr. 4graphicdesigner's draft #48 is going to be the winner. I know I could always be surprised of course, but I don't think anybody is going to be able to change my mind and beat how I feel about his design. I know I still have over a day left before this project closes, but... I am only posting this here because I care about your time, talent and energy, and I want to make sure you don't spend extra time and resources on this project if you could be working on other projects where you have a higher likelihood of winning the project. I am super anxious to see Mr. 4graphicdesigner's revisions I asked for.

My favorite designs btw are: #20 (all the design AND the business cards), #31 (but not the business cards and not the shirts), #37 and #38 It looks like this is going to go between Mr. 4graphicdesigner and my friend who created the logo Mr. Sumit128 for the winning bid. We seem to have an India vs. India house contest here haha. At this time: I tend to lean over to really liking #20 and #31 as my favorites. Tips and pointers: 1) I gravitate towards preferring having the contact info at the bottom of the fax/letterhead (as in #20 and #31) I have a feeling that the design that is going to win, is going to be the design that has the contact info at the bottom, and the company name more featured on top of the letterhead/fax design. 2) I prefer ligher colors that fit/match as closely as possible to the color of the ZOT Zin Music logo. 3) I tend to prefer having the ZOT Zin Music logo featured.. meaning: larger... on business cards, letterheads, fax pages, actually... everything. 4) I tend to lean towards liking having the big "O" with headphones logo on the lower left corner of fax/letterhead pages as a light background/watermark 5) I REALLY really like it when ALL materials have a certain design element that ties ALL materials together. Which is why I for example REALLY like #20 (ALL the materials have exactly the same design elements 6) I would LOOOOOVEEE to see copies/drafts of my 4 favorite designs mentioned above, with some slight touch of silver added to the white backgrounds of all materials/stationary. (As in the silver-ish kind of background in the original "white/silver background" of the ZOT Zin Music logo file I uploaded for this project) Fixes: 1) I need to have the 310-902-0993 (cell) number on top of the landline (323 etc) number on all materials. (cell first) 2) I absolutely want the center of the O's in "ZOT Zin Music" to be exactly the same color as the background (on ALL materials). If the background is black, I want the center of the O to be black as well, if it is turquoise, then I want the center of the O to be turquoise as well, etc... etc... Thank you for all your amazing work. Much respect and love for all your work and your talent. Best Vreny.

First off: I am SUPER HAPPY with all your submissions. You are ALL doing an amazing job and it is again going to be very hard for me to choose here. :) So here's some guidance, sharing with you my favorite things I have seen, likes, etc... Right now my 2 favorite ones are #33 and #31 My favorite color so far is Mr. Sumit's #33 Mr Sumit, Could I see a copy of the fax sheet and stationary/letterhead with the big O in the lower left corner 1) much lighter in color (kind a like a watermark. My concern is that it might interfere with typed text on the letter as it is now) 2) with that big O moved a bit to the left so the whole symbol is on the page. 3) with the company name/logo bigger on all materials. (This does not have to be 3 different drafts btw... trying to save you time here... I am looking for one draft that has all these 3 things all together.) More about #33 I LOVE the simplicity of the footer (bottom of page) you created on the letterhead/footer and fax page. On the business cards: you did an amazing job on the color of the back of the business card. Keep it that way please haha. However: you know how much I am in love with color of the logo you created: is there any way you can have the logo/business name in the original color (instead of white) on that awesome background you created here?? (not sure if that would work, or if it would be too much of the same color?) How would it look like if you made the word 'Music" black? Mr. 4graphicdesigner draft #31 I completely LOVE how you did this smart out of the box thinking thing and made the business cards vertical (which is pretty unusual haha). So cool. I also really frigging like what you did with the blue hue color lettering in my name and URL on the business cards. I also adore the design of the fax sheet and letterhead. I really like it's simplicity. But can I see a draft of the letterhead and fax page: where 1) you make a the company logo top left corner a bit bigger 2) Can you also add the O with head phones in the lower right corner, very lightly (like a watermark type thing) Lastly: I am trying to figure out how I like the business cards with the company name in the big O. Part of me is in love with the company logo design, and want to see it bigger and free (meaning: not surrounded by the big O ). I prefer the idea of using that O icon as a lighter background/watermark kind a thing. Comments for everybody: 1) I need to have my cell phone number and email on the CD labels and on the CD insert sheet. 2) I would like you all to use little icons instead of using the words "cell", "address", "phone", etc... The reason being that icons are more international: the word "cell" for example in Britain or Australia is confusing, as they call it a "mobile" there. 3) Us a little "house" icon for "address" 4) I want my cell number, to be ABOVE my land line/phone number 5) I want the address LAST. (Think about it: people have short attention spans haha... it's all about marketing and grabbing people... the FIRST thing they want to see is where to get in touch with you right now... your cell phone... not where you live.) Draft #26 and #27 I like your very smart idea of creating tablature paper, music paper etc... with my logo and business name/logo on. You get extra points sir for that amazing idea. I should have thought of that myself already, but you beat me to it haha. On the black shirt: I would not put the O logo on the front, as it makes it a bit too heavy and busy, already having my name logo there. I woud make the name logo bigger, and have the big O on the back of the shirt. Also: no tilted O. On the white top: FANTASTIC artwork with the O logo... I really like the dotted approach you came up with here. I also like how you picked up on my asking in an earlier post about the more silvery approach I wanted to see examples of. About the gift card: my only concern is that it might be a bit too busy with the 2 guitars. I would prefer seeing a version where the 2 guitars are replaced by a watermark/verylight O icon, with the company logo on the left of the card and slightly larger, and the text moved to the right, running over the watermark O. Beautiful envelop and letterhead btw!!!!!!!!! About the letterhead and fax sheet: my only concern here is... I would like to see the address as one line, or in a way that takes less space, and have the whole blue wave go lower so it does not take as much space on the letter and fax cover sheet. #32 Mr Vanrugh: You created MY FAVORITE CD LABEL so far. I ADORE the concentric blue lines. GREAT WORK sir!!!! My only concern with your design is: 1) The way you used the outline of the O, might give a bit of an impression of a cloud design, which might be a bit too disconnected from my company image/message. 2) the white lining around my company logo, although I actually really really DO like it a lot, also adds a bit of a cartoonish feel to my company logo. It's already playful with the light color and tumbling letters, I got to make sure it does not get too cartoonish. Plus points btw for the REAALLY cute girl you added in the picture. :) A Mr. Smartinfo #22, #23, #25 I like seeing my logo O or company name on a black background. It looks really good. I have to run, but let me get back later on with more comments about your designs. I REALLY like your card designs. I like how you added the silver wave. Need to sit on it for a while. Need to run. Later more. :) THANK YOU for all your great work and all your help here. Vreny.

Great job so far guys. Thank you so much. A couple of things: I REALLY like the colors of #14 (I think they are more ONE with the logo colors), and I REALLY like the company name size and letterhead placement on #13 I prefer having the business name on top of the business card, as in #14. On the business cards: I would like to have from top to bottom Company name My name underneath my function/title cell Phone email address URL (anywhere below the above) So draft #14 would win based on the colors, and Draft #13 would win based on the lay out of the letter head and fax page. But... on draft #13 1) I would like the "watermark" O logo to be straight, not tilted 2) I am not sure about the stars, how would it look like to replace these with the music notes of the O?? 3) I would like to have the blue wave at the bottom of the materials to be lowered, and maybe have my po box address being 1 line, horizontal instead of vertical. 4) I want the colors on my designs to match the colors of the logo (blue-yellowish) Now, important stuff. I am already thinking ahead also about the zotzinmusic.com website which I will also want to have built by end of next month. I will want my site to have the same silver-ish kind of look of the Apple computers website. There is something about their site not being completely "white".. it has some kind of silver feel to it. I will need my stationary, all my materials and my website to look like one coherent business package. Is there any way we can make what already has been submitted, with some kind of slight silvery feel added to it??? If you're not sure what I mean: have a look again at the white background logo design file I uploaded for this project, and notice how it is not entirely white, the edges of the file are silver-ish looking. Let me know what you think. THANK YOU so much for all the time and energy and talent you have already helped me out with here in such a short time. Cheers Vreny.

My only "concern" (sorry for the heavy handed word in my limited English haha) in Draft#10 is the color change of the Logo ZOT Zin Music name on the envelope, which lost some of it's original color turned now from a blue/ yellownish into a more simple blue lettering. I'd like to keep the original color of the logo as much as possible.

Draft #6 I really like how you have the company name larger/more prominent on the CD label. I would also like the company name to be more prominent on the business cards. I really like how you used the "O" of the logo around the whole in the CD. Very nice and smart thinking!!!!

Thank you very much for your submissions akreationz. Draft #4 is my favorite of your 4 drafts. I like the lighter color and the yellowish hue that you added. Am wondering; how it would look like if instead of the music notes in the lower right corner, if you used the very recognizable letter "O" with the headphones of the logo instead. Don't want to overload you with revisions though, as this contest just started and this can go in any direction. :)

@4graphicdesigner. It already was raised to $300 this morning. Most PH's on here give about half of that for stationary and business cards. I am already double the amount of most people on here. Nevertheless: I am, as I put in my first comment, very well aware that I am asking for a long list of things including email template, appointment cards, etc... As a result: depending on what I see coming in, there is a chance I might increase it even higher than it currently is. Thank you sir for helping me here and for keeping me educated. I need that. Much love to you and your family. Vreny.

Just as I did with my logo creation contest 2 weeks ago, I more than likely will also in this case raise the winning amount over time, depending on the submissions. After all: I know I am asking for a long list of things here now, and I am still trying to figure out a fair winning amount.
