Website for coaching/training/consultancy formula in Italy

Design needed for homepage, textpages, programpage, professionalpage

www.renaissance.me

Renaissance.me is a training/coaching/consultancy formula in Italy aiming at Dutch professionals, teams and companies, to offer them the best personal, team or corporate development experience immaginable. The idea consists of 3 parts: 1. The use of the word 'Me' (first person, singular)makes Renaissance a verb. You can use 'me' to express me as a person, us as a team and us as a company. It's a formula to help individuals (professionals), teams or companies to "reinvent" themselves, to get "reborn". The idea is to have people (professinals) from outside Italy to come to Italy to participate in team trainings, to have personal coaching and/or participate in a workshop. Target audiance is professionals, managers, management teams, etc. But also their secretaries, since they'll probably will first inform themselves on trips available and then organise the trip itself. 2. It takes place in Italy, the birthplace of the Renaissance. It's also to take people outside their normal environment. I believe that "being out of the box, makes you think out of the box". I believe that training/coaching people outside their normal environment, especially in beautifull italy, gives inspiration and new energy. 3. The formula will feature different experts for different cases. This group of specialist can vary from time to time. I believe it's the new way of offering consultancy and training. I will be working with a close group of partners and a wider and looser network of professionals. They'll be independent professionals, using this formula. I believe that independent professionals offer the best service. The best personal, team or corporate development experience we offer because we have the Dutch coming to Italy for their coaching, training or to follow a workshop. We will offer 3 products: 1. Personal development: open groups, participant from various organisations. 2. Team development: one group from one company 3. Corporate development: one organisations, management team for the development of strategy or organisation or a structure for continuous improvement. We will make these 3 products an experience because apart from the coaching/training/consultancy we inspire our clients by three kind or programs: 1. Personal development will use an art and architecture program to stimulate personal qualities. For example, since Urbino is the city of Raffael, we'll pay his house a visit. 2. Team development will use Italy's beautifull nature to stimulate team bonding and create occations to reflect on eachothers roles and behaviour. For example visit caves and go mountainbiking. 3. Corporate development will use examples of great wines, cheeses, etc to show how you can create a succesfull product to be proud of. My first Idea of the website structure will be as follows: (please feel free to use your experience to advise me on better structure!) 0. Home (brief introduction) 1. What is Renaissance.me? (mission, formula, why us?, why Urbino, Italy?) 2. Organisation and Professionals (brief explaination about organisation + 1 page per professional) 3. Programs (brief introduction, 3.1 personal development, 3.2 Team development, 3.3 Corporate development) 4. Summary of Benefits (what does it bring me, what are the results?, example cases, references, quotes) 5. Location (more explaination about fun factor, 4.1 Urbino, 4.2 Art/Architecture, 4.3 Culinairy/gastronomy, 4.4 Nature 6. Accomodation 7. Taylor made programs 8. Nieuws 9. Contact (Contactformulier, request brochure, more info) I'll upload some photo's you can use.... if you have better photo's please feel free!

I like the website to be very: - Intuative: Visitors need to be able to see in 3 second what they can do and if the service i am offering will help them. - Visual: Since this is about development and Italy, i would like to have people think instantly: This is where I want to go. Striking images will play a dominant role. - Actionable: people need to be invited to actually take action. For example to select a package that could suit them and have it emailed to them, so that they can print it at home. Or to contact me for further information or ask for a quote. I don't like the website to have: - Complexity, like a complex way to navigate and to find what you need. - Distractions like pop-ups, music, etc.

The green of the Italian hills

The orange of the roofs of the little houses. Might be yellow of the grain growing on the hills

The blue of the blue skies with little white clouds

http://www.hotelbloom.com/default-en.html ->modern, easy navigation, visually attractive, actionable

In summary: Visitors need to be able to find quickly a solution that suits their nees. For example: "I would like to work on my personal qualities, subsequently I will be in an open group, I will be away from the office for 3 days, I will be visiting a palace for achitetture, a museum for art, etc, and I will be sleeping in this beautifull resort."

@all, I've selected the winner: draft #115 by Mincedfruits. I has been a close call, there were a few designs that could have won. To make te final decision I have consulted a group of good friend, which could have been future clients. In the end design #115 won because of it's best combination between professionalism and creativity. Nevertheless, thanks to everyone for participating, I am very happy with the final result!

@AtifAziz, draft #108, Thanks for your design. I like the header image. I like less the many colours you've used. Try to follow a bit the last feedback I gave on telephone number, use of little puppets with three products, font of titles, footer, etc. Thanks for your efforts!

@mincedfruits, drafts #105, #106 and #107, Thanks for your new designs! I've thought about it for a long time and came to the conclusion that the full width navigation bar is the best. The separators you've added in design #107 I like as well! You can include them in the newest design. The puppets I like the best in design #115. For now focus on the innerpage. Thanks a lot!!

@dezinerguru, #103, #104 and #111, Thanks for your new designs. It's amazing how well you quickly you improve with my feedback! What you could improve: - Number and email addres below eachoter, the same width and without a box around them. - the icons used for news and testimonials seem a bit to 'cartoonish', would prefer something more serious/professional. - make a second footer for the logo and some details about the company (address, chamber of commerce, etc) Thanks!!

@shinedesign, drafts #97, #98, #99, #100, #101, #102, Thanks for your hard work!!! I see your struggle adding color. In terms of color, i like design #98 te best. But overall I still think #88 is the best. Clear for me is that the wide design favors over the smaller design. The difficulty I have with the colors is I think it's an improvement because it communicates a bit of creativity. What I like less it that it brings the rest of the page out of balance. Especially the news and testimonial column and the footer. Do you see my point?

@mincedfruits, draft #115 and #116, Great design, just great! Little improvements for the inner pages: -Could you make the header image the full width and make the three products overlap like they do in the home page, but then from right to left? Like a 90 degree turn counter clockwise? - Could you add some space between the news, events and testimonial blocks in the right column? Thanks!

@dezinerguru, draft #95, #96, Thanks for your designs, they're very nice for a first concept! :-) Here's some quick feedback (sorry to be very directive, but I've made some decisions that I would like to update you on): - loose the language flags, site will only be in Dutch - loose the searchbox, not necessary. - loose the icon the the phonenumber, make instead only a phone number and email address. - change the buttons 'learn more' to only text 'read more'. - Where does the body text come? People, when accessing the home page, will be interested to have a litte body with text to explain the whole concept. - footer: can you add a small contact form with name, email and text field? - footer: can you add the sitemap? Use same font as logo for main chapters and normal text font for sub-chapters. Please post also a design of the inner pages, like for example draft #91. Thanks!

@Mincedfruit, draft #93 THanks for your latest design, very nice! Could you make me two little changes? 1. The three little puppets: it seems like they're transparent, so the one in front kind of mixes / overlaps with the onces in the back. Can make it visually more obvious that the one in the front is really in the front and the ones in the back are really in the back. 2. can you shorten the navigation bar an put it on the same height as te logo? Just to see what it does? Thanks for your hard work!

@shinedesign, draft #92, THanks for your fast response! I've rated your newest design one star less than the previous. I think the lighter green makes it less serious and the fading edges of the photo makes it pretty. Could you give it another go? Thanks

@smartinfo, draft #86 and #87, Nice new design, they're much calmer than the ones earlier, gives more focus on the content. - telephone/email at right place, ok - colour purple like less, white background ok - Icons and fonts of news and testimonals could be improved, a bit more classy would be nice. - Like your bullits! ;-)

@shinedesign, draft #85, Thanks for placing the photo of Urbino! :-) Just one thing, could you put the little puppet of the logo right next to the logo instead of on top? I didn't notice it until now, but I would like to keep it as it was. :-) How are you doing with the inner pages? Thanks!

@2pCreations, drafts #80, #81, #82, #83, Thanks for your new designs. I came to the conclusion that I like the designs with a neutral background the best. I helps focussing on the content of the page. Could you focus on the innerpages now, like i wrote on: March 5, 2011 9:25 AM I would also appreciate another solution for the call us now and email. Somehow I like them best in the top right corner. :) Thanks!

@mincedfruits, draft #79, Great your back on track of the first design, nice work this one: Here's some comments to improve: - call us/email: just number and email address, both same width. - Selected navigation menu item, please make full height - please make team: 3 puppets, one green, two grey and smaller. corporate developemnt: 3 puppets, all green, two smaller. - Please focus also on the inner pages, follow my post: March 5, 2011 9:25 AM Thanks!!!

@smartinfo, draft #75, #76, #77, #78, Thanks for your designs, your very productive! But as I understood, you have a team to help you! ;-)#75 is the best, it's the most clean design. The colour purple is well thought of, but isn't very appealing. I like: the top menu bar is not bad! The way you've handled the three products is nice. Try to refine the design, try to make it simple and classy. Use also the feedback I already gave! Thanks!

@shinedesign, draft #71, #72, #73, #74, It's just great, very nice design! #71 is the best Could you do me one favour, can you put the photo of Urbino in the header in stead of this one? I know I'll be able to change it later, but just to see. Please focus on the inner pages like my post: March 5, 2011 9:25 AM Thanks!

@Dezignlab, draft #69 and #70, I like the last the best. The little blue box and the blue box stand a bit out though, what happens if you change colour? What happens if you reduce the space between the body and the header? Start also thinking about the innerpages, would like to see those, according to my post: March 5, 2011 9:25 AM Thanks, keep on developing!

@designme, draft #63, #64 and #65, Great design, nice how you've handled the three products! Little things to improve: - Leave the butterfly from the header, not necessary, I'll use the photo later - little puppets in three products a little smaller. - Chapters in footer as my feedback was to shine desingn. - Now it's time to focus also on the innerpages, like my post @March 5, 2011 9:25 AM. Thanks, keep up the good work!

@all, As we're getting close to the end of the contest and as I've asked you before, I also need your design for the inner pages of the website, that is: 1. what will be the general setup for the page, for example what will happen to the header image, the three product, the column for news and testimonials? 2. How will the pages be formatted, give me an example for: - General text like, Heading 1/tm6, links, etc. - an image - a news item post (incl. title, timestamp, author, etc.) - a text paragraph (just plain text incl. title) - List types (numbers and bullets) - form items like: textfield, textarea, dropdown, radiobutton, checkbox and send button. - a table See for an example what i mean, for example: http://wordpress.org/extend/themes/zbench Thanks!! Bastiaan
