web design for a small IT company

Computers

http://digi-value.fr

We are a very small french computing company. Our clients are organizations having from 5 to 250 computers. we offer various services, from simple technical help, to advanced engineering. But we mainly act as IT manager for small companies. Our current website is http://digi-value.fr : as you can see, this is not very professionnal, attractive or appealing.

note : we are required to choose a "nav placement". I don't bother, so I left the default choice. We search for a nice/smart/elegant design. We used this site with great pleasure for our logo 2 years ago, and I'm happy to see most projects are "garanteed" (this was not the common case then) The goals of the new website are: - let people know who we are (a company which help organizations with their computing needs) - let people know what we can do (simple technical help, engineering, IT management) - let people know who can benefit from this (organizations with 5 to 250 computers) - let people know how to contact us - convey a professionnal image, with elegance and being smart - give confidence to visitors about us I give the text in english, in order to allow you to understand the general meaning. This is not the real text, and this is not really accurate. I present what I think could be a good idea, but feel free to propose other layouts : - the page contains 8 to 11 areas with small texts describing 8 to 11 topics - when the mouse is over each area, another area pops-up with more details about the corresponding topic (not a new window : this is an overlapping area on the same page) - or when the mouse is over each area, the details can be shown elsewhere (on the side, or where you want). The goal is the user feels to have only one page reminder: this is only a suggestion. Your own ideas are really welcome. The topics displayed on the main page are: - the company's logo - sort of headline : computing for organisations (the french text is much better. I don't know how to translate it correctly) - the toll free phone number (call us 0805 69 60 40) - a link to the "contact us" page - the text "We take care of your computing problems (and some padding because the final text will be longer - and some padding because the final text will be longer)" - 1 year garantee for everything we do - up to 5 years on agreement - we are available from Monday to Saturday from 8am to 20pm - up to 24h/24 7j/7 on agreement - and the list of what we do : - inventory management - IT management - hotline - servers - networks - backups - emails - security, confidentiality - hardware and software - prices (link to the price page) - legal notice - contact us (a second time ? on the footer ?) - terms and conditions of sales Here is the text for a satellite page, in the case it is displayed into the main page: Inventory management The inventory management is the monitoring of your computing assets - hardware inventory - software inventory - dependencies mapping - licences management - contracts management - reporting And some padding there - And some padding there - And some padding there - And some padding there - And some padding there - And some padding there - And some padding there - And some padding there - And some padding there - And some padding there - And some padding there - And some padding there - And some padding there - And some padding there - And some padding there - And some padding there - And some padding there - And some padding there - And some padding there - And some padding there - And some padding there - And some padding there - And some padding there - And some padding there - And some padding there - And some padding there -
