Creative Brief

Banner for Trade Show

This will actually be for 2 banners with 2 different sizes that will be displayed at a trade show. The content will be identical. Basically one banner will be a miniature copy of the other. The dimensions are as follows: Large Banner: 70” tall x 24” wide. Small Banner: 16 ½” tall x 10 ½” wide. The measurements are in inches. If you are going to have the artwork bleed to the edge of the banners you need to leave about ¼” bleed line around the edge. Content: 1. virtualroof.com logo (see attached). 2. “Cloud Computing” as a heading for the sentence in #3, below. 3. Right under that, it needs to say “Our services allow your employees to work from anywhere in the world and still be under one virtual roof.” There should be an emphasis on the words “virtual roof”. 4. The following bullet items… • No More Software to Install, Configure or Maintain • Cuts Costs: No server, No IT Consultants, No Upgrades • Allows You to Focus on Core Business, Not IT • U.S. Based Technical Support by IT Professionals 5. The website: www.virtualroof.com 6. The phone number: 407-965-0655 7. Lastly, if you can incorporate any of the graphics (iPad, Mac laptop, Windows laptop, etc…) from my brochure design that would be great. I would like the banner to have a similar feel to the brochure and the business card. The website where my brochure is being designed is: http://orders.logodesignguru.com/contests/virtualroof-com-brochure. Draft 12 and 8 are my favorite designs so far. I have also attached my business card. In addition I have attached a word document with the content. Please do not consider the design in the word document as a guide to how I want it to look. I want the artist to determine the look and feel. I am trying to communicate a high tech, futuristic and strength message. I like blues, silvers and metallic looks. the material that this will be printed on is sort of like a nylon tent type material. Sort of thin soft cloth.

    For these small banners, don't forget the following: The measurements are in inches. If you are going to have the artwork bleed to the edge of the banners you need to leave about ¼” bleed line around the edge.

    There were some typos in the below comment. Most importantly the size is listed wrong. It should have been 16 ½” tall x 10 ½” wide. Also there are 4 "box shot" images that I would like to use on this banner that have been uploaded to this project.

    I need one more small banner ( design. The size is 6 ½” tall x 10 ½” wide. I have uploaded a word file (Mini_Banner_Content_Applications_Hosted_4980)with the content I want on this banner. I have also uploaded JPG files with the box shot images of a few of the software programs that we host. So that will be 3 banners total. One large 70” tall x 24” wide and one small with exactly the same content. The 3rd is the one described in the above paragraph.
