THE LOFT is an upscale bar and nightclub in the heart of downtown Pensacola FL. It will reside on the second floor of a 200+ year old building with tremendous character. The walls are exposed brick, high ceilings with exposed trusses, concrete floor, elevated VIP areas, with lounge beds, a large solid cherry full service bar (over 40 feet in length). The entrance is a tall wrought iron staircase (black). the space is over 8,000 sq ft. There is a huge balcony overlooking palafox PL, which is the main street in the downtown. Wrought Iron railing encases the balcony (black).
I would like the logo to incorporate the "idea" of a stairwell. I would like it to be a bit abstract. In other words, I don't want it to reflect a true staircase, just the notion of a staircase (hope this makes sense). I like the lines to be more like brush strokes (the lucent technologies logo comes to mind). I like the idea of the words "THE" being vertical, with the word "LOFT" horizontal along the base of the abstract staircase. I also like the idea of the "L" in "LOFT" being red with the other letters in black. The balcony railing has a "square grid" pattern that I envision being used like a "watermark" of sorts in the logo. We will incorporate the balcony railing in the elevated VIP area as we make the renovations to the space.
