We are definitely leaning towards the less whimsical designs with a clear, concise message. We really want the logo to bememorable and good for merchandise. Clean modern fonts are good and lowercase is ok.
#8 at first glance has a strong"burger" feel. Color and overall look we like but the cutting board may need to have strighter lines or be a skillet, cork, or wine glass /bottle.

However, if you are providing 2 or 3 different color versions of the same logo in one draft, please make sure that if the particular draft gets finalized, each color version should be separated before you will send the final files.

#5&6. Really like this design. The horns are a little similar to a water buffalo as opposed to a steer.
