9/13: Please keep focusing on the hopeful feeling for the logo. We now have plenty that focus on the brain and headache. The main purpose of our website is to provide help to migraineurs AND a place where they can come and not feel like they are alone with their pain. So, since I do want the MigraineLife / MigraineLife.com text in the logo, we have some room to make sure we get across that idea of hope, help, community. Thank you.
I have posted a file that shows the types of logos I prefer from the MycroBurst profiles and winner logos. I am not sure what these styles are called other than I know a few tend toward the Web 2.0 look. I am not set on colors, but do like these with the blues, greens, blacks. I am open to color ideas that might fit the concepts I have described in the brief.
Thank you very much to all designers submitting. I will likely extend this project another 3 days because I had a family event and am very late getting feedback and rating the designs. Please continue to submit your ideas.

Focusing on the head / headache part would be great for some others, and also the idea that I want to express "hope" about getting help from my site... i.e. a positive feeling, uplifting, hopeful.
