This logo is for an internet software consulting firm. We do engineering, web development, and web design work. The logo will be used on our website, business cards, etc.

We're open to any colors, though a mechanical bee probably has a metallic look to it.

The logo should have the words "mechanical bee". We were thinking it would be all lowercase, but are open to other options.
The logo should include a mechanical bee of some sort. It shouldn't be too cartoonish or too realistic (like a live bee or wasp). It shouldn't look dangerous or make people think about getting stung. Nothing agressive. It's a fun (but not goofy), lovable, hardworking bee.
We're imagining a somewhat geometric, clean bee that is clearly mechanical.
