We specialize in professional wedding and special event videography. 90% of our business is wedding videos but we also shoot corporate videos, bar/bat mitzvahs, sporting events, and dance recitals. Everything we shoot is in High Definition using the latest HDSLR technology. Most of the decision makers on hiring us are female.

We would like the logo to have the ability to be placed on both White and black backgrounds. So not sure if the Text needs some kind of outline to accomplish this.
We're not sure if we want a picture of a camera or film reel used in the logo, but if someone can come up with something creative, it may peak our interest. We are leaning towards not having it though. FYI we don't use the big old school video cameras, we use HDSLRs like the Canon 5D mark II if that helps. We just don't want it to look cheesy. We prefer Modern, creative and professional with a hint of fun and easy going. We want the client to feel warm inside but feel confident we are serious about what we do.
In regards to the text, Brown can be used for the Main logo (McNeill Media) and if you think one of the other colours look better for the tagline (Professional Videography) then please do what's best!
