My favourites so far (in order of appearance)

    #34, #27, #25

#34 clean, simple and works well for an internet startup. The icon encapsulates most of what we do, i.e. to express in visual terms. On the downside, there is a cetain conformity to other internet logos. The tag line could also be a bit more expressive.

#27 The tag line is convincing. Truly makes a bold statement and so is the logo. The icon is well integrated and easy to decipher. But the design may be a bit too bold and metallic for the media industry.

#25 the compromise. A bit softer than #27, yet conveys quality. Nice contrast to the tag line.

It looks like all are picking up on the idea of the "play icon" That's not a requirement at all. It was just one idea that crossed my mind.

    Attention Designers!!

MycroBurst permits you to submit unlimited designs with unlimited variations. However, if you are providing 2 or 3 different color versions of the same logo in one draft, please make sure that if the particular draft gets finalized, each color version should be separated before you will send the final files.

    Thanks,

    MB/LDG/LS Team

Do people want me to comment on each design publicly or via private message? If design submissions other than the designer's own work are invisible, is there a point to make a public comment? Sorry, running my first contest here.

#1 the icon was too general, so I deleted it

#2 icon has a bit more visual appeal to me. But keeps reminding me of the star alliance logo in the airline industry, so subjectively it lacks association for a web business. But works better in black&white. Only given 1 star in direct comparison to #3.

#3 simple, but I could see this work. Fits better to a web business. I would probably make the company name black here (to contrast it from the icon) and remove the dot on the "i". You could for once turn the letter "l" into an exclamation mark instead. Not sure if that becomes too playful, though.

Do designers prefer if the project is unveiled?

all: you may include in the tag line, of course. I thought the design brief reads "optional", but for some reason it's put on "no"
