This logo is for a start up landscaping company in the Vail and Aspen valleys of Colorado. The business owner's intent is tend to, maintain, and cultivate owners landscapes/yards in a conscientious and detailed manner in hopes to give owners pride in their outdoor space. The business will encompass tending to yards, flower beds, trees, etc not just lawns. For background on the business owner, he is an outdoorsman in the Rocky mountains; ski patroller, rafter, hunter etc with Southern hospitality and honesty to accompany his business.
Designs that are simpler are desired but all welcome. An idea of a hand holding a "landscape" (trees, flowers, grasses) with or without some mountains/rivers have been tossed around. The thought is of using ones hands to tend to and nurture the earth. Modern, clean lines but with an outdoor spin into a recognizable symbol?

I will be uploading a preliminary sketch of a hand holding a landscape (bright green simple hand holding tree, flowers, grasses with lowercase tended earth landscaping written below) and we would like some designs incorporating this idea and help turning it into a cool logo! Your interpretation of a hand holding trees, flowers, or grasses etc in a simple, clean form (as few "brush strokes" so to speak) as possible to start would be great to see and is encouraged. Other ideas incorporating the outdoors, mountains, rivers too are welcomed.
Probably trying to avoid a globe/earth logo unless it is very subtle as if just suggested in the form/shape of logo please. Please avoid rustic and country or old fashioned designs. Also want to avoid cartoon like designs or anything very elementary and too young or playful please. Modern, hip simple design.
I may also upload other logos that the owner has liked for idea of his taste.
