    Hello all,

Here are a few pieces of stock art to demonstrate the feel of the rattlesnake that may be possible to incorporate into the final design.

    #23 #24 #34 #40 & #41 are all candidates.

Something a little "mean" would be best.

The snake in #23 and #24 is very cool. Along with Benjamin Franklin's snake used on the Gadsden flag, the Rattlesnake has a long history in the firearms community.

#18 & #19 definitely on the right track. Readiness & Tactical can be more prominent in the design-- perhaps full length.

Distressed like the Dust Tactics logo at this link:

I pulled logos out of a basic search that caught my eye for different reasons-- not necessarily industry related.

The store is a post apocalyptic supply store-- fringe, borderland, end of civilization waypoint. Guns & ammunition, food & apparel-- a new age trading post.

I hope this helps better offset any weakness in my brief.

An elaboration on our brief: We are hoping for a serious, gritty, masculine logo. A little on the darker side.

Running through portfolios last night there were several designs with a distressed look that were impressive.

Also, there were several eye-catching designs where a different color was used for each of the two primary words in the design.
