    Hi All,

Great working with you on this design, we had a lot of creative designs and feel we walked away with a great logo, not an easy choice.

Looking forward to working with you in the future!

    Attention Designers,

You may upload multiple variations of one logo in one draft for the presentation purpose. However, winner of the contest will have to send final files with each version separated hence, one file should only have one color version of the finalized logo.

We would appreciate your cooperation in this regards.

    Thanks!

    Hi,

Although we have some favorites so far, there are still 2+ days left in this design contest and the guaranteed prize is still up for grabs!

We will provide feedback as needed and reminder...

    - NO stock or clipart graphics
    - Review comments and brief for design direction.
    - And Please check you spelling :)

    Thank you!

    Hi Designers!

We are really impressed with the quality of the logo designs coming in and made a couple changes to maximize this effort and to allow the community to continue to be creative. We made the project Veiled as there were a couple variations of existing designs and we wanted to make sure everyone felt comfortable in posting their design drafts and changes.

Second, we extended the project by 3 days to allow us to provide more individual feedback and direction.

Besides comments directly to designers we will continue to give general guidance in the comments areas.

Thanks you all and keep it coming!!!

    Forgot one more direction...

Although creative, we want to stay away from incorporating the "L" in Lakes as part of the lighthouse structure.

    Thanks!

Here is some specific direction to help guide the designs (again thanks for the great start!).

    Color
    - Our main usage would be on a white background so we would like to see that first (creative variations are fine after that).
    - Like more of the solid colors for the typography rather than the gradient unless it is used sparingly.

    Typography
    - Main Text (Lakes Baptist Church): Want to move away from traditional “old-fashion” fonts like #38, #9. We do like clean, modern, more casual font directions of #4, #42.
    - Tag Line: Tagline small and at the bottom like #4

    Layout
    - Like horizontal layouts #14 or integrated like #30
    - We like how #35 shows the logo on different backgrounds and with white or black.

    Lighthouse
    - We like less realistic almost silhouette lighthouse. We like the light/shadow effect example #14.
    - Don’t like the black or completely dark lighthouse like #7
    - #1 Lighthouse is creative with the integrated cross although we want to stay away from religious symbols (in this case it works.
    - On full lighthouse we do like the simple creative waves like #12.

Thanks again, you guys are awesome!

Hi Designers! Great start so far. We met and reviewed the designs and will start commenting to give direction.

So far we like the creativity and direction of #1, #4 and #31 but can see a lot of promise in others.

Feel free to PM if you have specific questions.

Thank you and keep them coming!
