Donkey Cartoon T-Shirt Design

: We are the American Society for Pharmacology and Experimental Therapeutics or better known as ASPET. We are a non-profit membership organization and our members are PhD scientists who are doing research in Pharmacology. Over the past few years, we have sort of acquired a mascot for our organization. He is an “Ass”-Pet. Basically playing on our acronym “ASPET”, he is a stuffed donkey that wears a t-shirt with our logo on it. This year at our Annual Conference (due to popular demand) we are going to be selling Kid’s T-shirts and would like to get a cartoon of our donkey to use as the t-shirt design. Attached is a photograph of the stuffed donkey. We want the cartoon drawing to very closely resemble this stuffed donkey. We want the design to look like a cartoon and look cute and attractive for a child to wear. We also want it to appeal to our members (who are Pharmacology Scientists), so perhaps the donkey could be working in a lab or dressed as a scientist. These are just a few ideas. In the picture attached the donkey is wearing a t-shirt with our logo on it. The logo he is wearing has changed just slightly. I have attached our latest logo. We would like our logo to be incorporated in the design somewhere. We are happy to keep the logo on his t-shirt, but we’d like it to stand out. Please note that Pharmacology is not the same as Pharmacy. Our members do Pharmacology, which is basic research in labs to find cures for diseases. Their research is what eventually develops into drugs and therapeutics, but they are not pharmacists who dispense the drugs. So this is very important that this does not get confused and it is very important that the Donkey is not depicted as a pharmacist. You can view those to get an idea of what we have done in the past. But please keep in mind that this t-shirt is for a child.

Scientific

The design needs to be fun. Something a young child would wear. The design needs to also be something that the parent of the child will appreciate. The parent is a PhD scientist doing research in pharmacology and is a member of ASPET.

We would like the design to be colorful and we want it to go on a white t-shirt. The maximum amount of colors you can use is 8 and the colors must be solid (no gradients). These are the requirements from the t-shirt company that we will be using to print the t-shirts. We want the design to sit on the front/center of the t-shirt.
