Creative Brief

Image for Website Home Page

967x249 pixels

Objective: Create a visual image for the home page of our website that ties into one of our tag lines: Your missing piece to the machine-to-machine activation puzzle. It the reader...could not read...it's my hope the image will convey what we offer. View the uploaded image of a draft version of new homepage. The image is 967x249 pixels and includes the white/grey space on the right containing text. Keep: -Names of the Wireless Carriers (Verizon Wireless, at&t, and Sprint) Feel free to incorporate the image of a cell tower as well. -Images of cellular modems. (additional images uploaded - freely use or add. We'd like to incorporate the image of a tablet but it cannot be the Apple iPad.) Omit: Image of MAZE and arrow. Add: in place of the maze insert a picture that represent us: the Team at Data Activation Center or Your Virtual Activations Dept or Something that indicates we are the EXPERTS bridging the gap between the equipment and the carriers.WE ARE THE MISSING PIECE TO THEIR ACTIVATION PUZZLE. (Please contact me at ANY time for additional feedback) Puzzle piece should look high tech and clean. Could even be an outline (like uploaded example) or Overall image should reflect 3 puzzle piece coming together. Puzzle pieces include:

#74 and #72 (Smartinfo) We like both of these designs but need edits before we could select either one. Using #72 - can you place our logo (complete logo)inside a puzzle piece so that it appears we are the piece that connects the piece on the left and right. A total of 3 puzzle pieces rather than 2. Also, please provide #72 with a couple different blue background as well as the white with the edits above. Thank you,

Update: I am not getting the image needed to convey our message on our home page thus I have increased the recommended prize money. I cannot change the brief only add to it here. What we do: we are agents for the main cellular carriers in the US. Our specialty: We become a "virtual activation department" for manufacturers and their distributors of machine-to-machine equipment. (modems) We help the buyers of this equipment easily connect their equipment with the cellular carrier. (Here in the states it can be a very painful and frustrating experience.) Think: We sit between the carrier, customer and manufacturer providing activation service, technical support and customer service for the carrier that the end user has subscribed to. Think: We are the missing piece of the cellular modem activation puzzle. (If puzzle pieces are to be used; our logo should be in the middle of 2 other pieces, one representing the carriers and the other equipment) If your design includes several puzzle pieces, perhaps a person pushing a piece (equipment puzzle piece)into the puzzle would work. Think: A person drawing a diagram of our process. I previously uploaded an primative example of my thoughts...DO NOT USE IT...create your own version please using the info provided. PLEASE email with any questions. Thank You

IMPORTANT - Must use the Verizon Wireless logo provided. It cannot be edited to Verizon. It must be Verizon Wireless.

Easy Optimize: Re: #38 Very Close: Can you delete the 2 men at front standing beside one another? Increase the size of the puzzle even if it cuts off the pieces laying on the floor. This may allow for hardware images to be placed inside the 2 puzzle pieces being pushed into the puzzle. Thank You

easyoptimize #30 - you may be on to something. Please remove the text content from the image. Remove the 3 men stacked on top the modem/hardware. Move the Verizon/att/Sprint to the puzzle pieces on the far right where the men are stacked. If you can get hardware images INSIDE the puzzle pieces being moved into the puzzle...it may work. This will result in what will look like OUR men moving hardware puzzle pieces into the puzzle pieces of the wireless carriers.

garbanzo #23 - Are you able to show the man PULLING that puzzle piece into the piece with the "Verizon/ATT/Sprint" logo's? Also remove the globe from the puzzle piece and move all equipment inside the piece. Thank you

Hello and thank you for your submissions. To help I am adding comments and draft#'s as reference. So far, we are still missing the mark. The visuals need to convey that by using our service they solve an underlying problem which is: They have equipment/hardware that will not work without a data connection on a wireless carrier. However, they are not experts in this area nor are their customers and it's a real pain getting their hardware up and running. When they call upon us for our help we remove all the pain and make the process seem easy. Thus we are the missing piece to their data activation puzzle. (Please email for any clarification.) Also think: "Our team connects your hardware to the carrier of your choice." #1 - like the life like images inside the puzzle piece. Feedback - equipment should also be inside puzzle piece and pieces should appear to be coming (fitting) together. use of the 3 wireless carries is a must; Verizon Wireless, at&t and Sprint. #2 - like the empty space on the right, allowing room for custom content. #3 - Add the wireless carriers logo's to the puzzle piece on far left and the customers hardware/modems on the piece being pushed in, remove the text content leaving blank space on right...you'll be closest to the vision thus far. However we are open to other interpretation. #4 - Puzzle pieces don't seem to have a purpose in the image. #8 thru #12 - Please use life like images of tower and incorporate the use of the puzzle rather than simply inserting it into the picture serving no purpose. #13 - #15 - I think reading all the feedback above will point you in the right direction. Thank you! We are looking forward to revisions.
