Thank-you to all the people who responded to the project. I am very pleased with so many great options being presented. I'm glad I found this website rather than wasting time myself trying to play around with Photoshop myself. :)
I will be showing a short list of logos to our church leaders and making a decision over the next few days.

Thanks to all the great designers who have contributed. I will have a hard choice. Just a reminder that the colours should be as per specified in the brief. (ie blue/orange)
Also I would like a horizontal version as well as a square version. The longer format would be ideal for going across the front of the church build and letterheads. The square-shaped version for other signage and stationery use.

    Attention Designers!!

MycroBurst permits you to submit unlimited designs with unlimited variations. However, if you are providing 2 or 3 different color versions of the same logo in one draft, please make sure that if the particular draft gets finalized, each color version should be separated before you will send the final files.

    Thanks,

    MB/LDG Team

#3 - Would like something with modern fonts, probably no serifs.
#2 - would like to see another version with the cross bigger (more emphasis) and hand smaller. Tagline should have leading capital.
#1 - if using birds would prefer doves, not humming birds :)

I like two colours in the church name...
