Creative Brief

"CADDIEPRO.COM" on a Golf Cap

CADDIEPRO.COM

No

Caddie Promotions promote top tour golf caddies. We are producing a white Golf Cap with something like:

CADDIE
PRO.COM

on the front and on the right side in a contrasting color (perhaps 2 colors)

text
text

Cutting-Edge
Clean/Simple
Corporate
Retro

The cap will be white, so you may decide that the whole logo is in one color, most likely black to give the most contrast. Another color is possible, maybe for the .com bit, but not essential.

2

The following rules MUST apply:

The maximum space available on the front of a cap is 70mm x 60mm (just think 7x6 units) and on the side is 50mm x 30mm (5x3 units) so it is most likely that you will decide to split the logo over 2 lines.

The primary objective is that it looks professional but is very clear and easy to read at a glance.

Its kind of an extremely easy requirement but quite challenging for you guys.

Thanks so much,
Steven

Attention to designers! Please upload a single design per submission. Design submissions with multiple logos of even same concept will be deleted. Thanks

How are you going to print the logo on the cap? do gradients work, or do you need solid colors? Any line width restrictions?

Ok, great, starting to like these now. Have reduced it down to 3 possible concepts now, feel free to churn out designs based on these. Please see http://www.caddiepromotions.com/images/interface/final_concepts.jpg for these. Please provide versions around these 2 concepts, main color black, secondary color anything. The left hand concept I prefer but my business partner prefers the right hand one! He argues the whole thing is easier to read.

Ideas... Perhaps have .com downwards not upwards? Or use an upside down "i" to act at the "." in ".com". See http://www.caddiepromotions.com/images/interface/idea1.jpg It just needs a professionals alignment, font and polishing. No more red please, perhaps a blue. Quite like the font in #29 or something similarly quirky provided it is easily readable.

Getting closer now, thank you. You will notice that the remaining designs all have some things in common: 1. text-only 2. rectangular 3. bold Things we like: * the 7x6 dimensions of #37, but the golf ball wont work on a cap * the font of #29, but again but the golf ball wont work on a cap * the font of #40 * the layout of #32 but, not the font Would the .com going vertically work? The requirement is pretty much about laying out a quality font in a 7x6 space. No icons needed.

    * TEXT ONLY PLEASE * SPACE AVAILABLE IS 7 x 6 * NO ICONS, JUST STRONG FONT #3 by finaldesign is good, but the ".com" is probably going to be too small to embroider on a Golf Cap or read from a distance. Not keen on center alignment either, please use space available. #9 by otakatik is good, because it uses the entire rectangular space, but the space available is 7x6. ***Please*** read the above and also the requirement. Thanks.

Please follow brief. We are only interested in: 1. white background 2. text-based. Bear in mind this is to go on a Cap and the objective is for it to be readable at distance and with the swiftest of glances 3. uses the rectangular space of 7x6 well So far, #8 is the closest to what we are looking for
