We are also in the process of redesigning our website and will be using this basic template as our inspiration. The images will be softened a bit, but the layout will remain the same. Having versions with a black background will be necessary to incorporate into this type of site, but we will need a version that also looks good with a white background for use on other media.
Thank you for trying to incorporate the colors on #11 and #12. However, it doesn't give the feel of luxury so much. I'm sure it will be difficult to incorporate the two concepts together...luxury AND fun. I think we are willing to compromise on the colors if it better displays the overall concept of the resort that we are looking for.
We do a lot to make sure that the pets are well taken care of, shown individual attention, and pampered while they stay with us. We have so many services, options and little luxuries that many other resorts don't offer. Longer walks, private swim and play time, grooming, private suites with beds and tv's, cat & dog boarding, and we are associated with a veterinary clinic which is within walking distance. We'd like to see a logo that captures this. Easy, right? :)
So, the team and I have looked over these designs and many others to give better guidance on what we've seen and liked quite a bit. First, the designs that have the Milton Manor on a separate line are better, so we can showcase the primary name. Next, we like designs that include a heart in some way, as our slogan is "You leave em, we love em." The resort should imply fun yet luxurious, so we would like to see some that include concepts that imply a hotel feel, possibly a roof line (incorporating the idea of a Manor), perhaps a pillow or bed, and/or a frisbee or ball to show that we have many fun things for the pets to do. I will post some links to designs that we like components of. Also, please show variation of the color schemes, focusing on using either a forest green, or the more vibrant scheme of our transportation vehicle.
