We are representing the Salus Group, a Medical/Healthcare IT consulting firm, which employs seasoned executives (MDs & PhDs) to consult corporate CEOs, CIOs and CMOs. They provide end-to-end consulting solutions in the areas of technology, project management, and virtual worlds.
Primary industry sectors are healthcare, government and technology, in both domestic and international markets.

Our client prefers a strong logo. Must be able to be printed against white and/or black backdrop for different use. Favors the following combinations: Blue/Grey, and Black/Gold/White. 2-3 colors acceptable, 2 preferable.

The name 'Salus' is of a minor Roman goddess who personified well-being, health and prosperity. Our client suggests a caduceus (winged medical staff with two snakes wrapped around it), but is not a design requirement.
Something clever, cool, upscale and yet polished and sophisticated with a technology flair that would also lend itself to a global market.
Does not like cartoon style - needs to present a strong clean image.
Would like to see variations of: SALUS vs Salus, with or without tagline, and 2 vs 3 colors.
