High school students. Should be colorful, bright, shiny, engaging, made to stand out. Cover will also be used for Amazon e-book cover, so title should be large enough to be easily read when image size is reduced.

Templates for sizing attached. Title and author must appear on front cover as well as bound edge. Back cover leave bar code area blank (publisher will place bar code here). Silly Beagle Productions logo should appear somewhere on back cover. APlusPhysics.com logo may be used as part of the design of front or back cover, or may be skipped completely. Back cover text: AP Physics 1 Essentials is an easy-to-read guide to the entire AP Physics 1 course, featuring more than 500 worked-out problems with full solutions and deeper understanding questions. AP Physics 1 Essentials covers all major topics included in the AP Physics 1 course, including: kinematics, dynamics, momentum, impulse, gravity, uniform circular motion, rotation, work, energy, power, mechanical waves, sound, electrostatics, and circuits. This book is designed to assist physics students in their high school AP Physics courses both as a guide throughout the course as well as a review book to guide end-of-course exam preparation. AP Physics 1 Essentials is integrated with the APlusPhysics.com website, which includes online question and answer forums, videos, animations, and supplemental problems to help you master the essential concepts of physics.

Also, please don't think you have to use stock photos -- illustrations and creative ideas are very much appreciated as well!

Also, just to provide some ideas, the following ThinkStock images would probably relate to the book fairly well: 148986696, 147027849 Other topics covered include things like amusement park rides (things that spin, roller coasters, etc.), all of which might make interesting front cover items. Lots of great designs so far, thanks for your hard work!

Looking forward to seeing what exciting and creative designs you can put forth for this new physics book! Target audience is high school students (15-17 years of age) taking physics. Sales into this target range many times are dependent on a catchy cover, so think bright, fun, and colorful for this age range.
