| Consumers that have probably tried to get rid of bed bugs on their own and have realized it is nearly impossible. We want the logo to feel light-hearted, colorful, inviting and friendly...literally like the ghostbusters logo, read more in the next section. And since bed bug eggs spread so easily, having bed bugs now carries a sort of social stigma... people don't want to catch your bed bugs by sitting on your couch!!! So we want people to feel comfortable calling and know they will not be judged and that professionals are on the job! | ||

We literally want it to look like the ghostbusters logo: http://www.chrisrossi.com/2008/10/21/master-replicas-announces-ghostbusters-props/ But no black background, and definitely a different font. The bug should have six legs and antennae, and vampire looking teeth (top incisors) and should have a surprised/scared/bewildered look on its face just like the ghostbuster's ghost does..."Oh no I'm about to get clobbered by Bed Bug Men!!!" Here is an example of a cockroach that has the right colors, and almost the right look, maybe it can be modified, not sure. He needs more legs, and his teeth need to be on top not the bottom, and he needs to have the right look on his face. http://www.istockphoto.com/stock-illustration-13542452-cartoon-cockroaches.php I think the words of the logo would work best all caps and stacked (three lines) to the right of the logo, but if you have other options, please feel free to show them. Unfortunately we are under a deadline (we are in the middle of a bed bug epidemic in some parts of the country) and our client wants to get this program up and running quickly. So we need something to show by Friday morning (9/10). If we see something final then, we will close it then, if not we will continue to provide feedback. Thanks in advance for your time! |
