Hello all! Last 2 days, final push. In summation, when it comes down to what we want, we want a SYMBOL, plain and simple; something that stands for connection, movement, one-ness-- broad strokes, curvy, abstract.
Images uploaded today will help illustrate some of that. Thanks. There is additional info in brief if you need more inspiration.

    Hi everyone,

With just over two days left in the contest, we wanted to thank all of you for your creativity and work on this project. While there have been many great logos, we are still in search for a logo with the right symbol which could stand alone to respresent As ONE. We've uploaded a doc which illustrates our style preferences for symbols. Please take a look. In general, we are looking for a symbol which is soft, artistic, graceful, with movement and beautiful lines/curves (as opposed to hard and rigid). Thanks again for your interest!

Forgot one thing: we are not fans of circle heads on geometric bodies; it seems disjointed. Thanks!

Like: *texturize/wash out some/all of the title
*if trying to incorporate world/Earth into the "O" maybe think old globe in a dusty library/worn map (we are not attached to this idea, just thought we'd give it a try)
*copper/brass colors looking good with the gold/mustard; maybe include a contrast color like grey, deep peacock/turquoise, olive?, fern green
*prefer "as" to be in lower case to either all caps or at least capital "O"

Don't like: *title to look like the word "asone"
*" a yoga collective" in all CAPS
*leaves, trees, lotus flowers (we LIKE all of these things, just not for design :)

Keep up the good work. We are appreciative of your creativity and our inevitable connection

Here is a high potential idea/suggestion that I hope some of you will consider:

The design of the letter "O" in the word "One" so that it could stand alone on its own, as it's own symbol, and representative of the As One brand, which is oneness with oneself and oneness with the world.

Perhaps their is an artistic sketch in the letter O which could incorporate/resemble a yoga posture and planet earth. Please see our yoga postures document (as part of the project brief) and review other comments I've posted to get a sense of the styles that I like. Please remember we're looking for artistic sketches and vagueness, NOT photo or absolute. Thanks!

For those including a yoga posture, please lean towards:

artistic sketches ... not photo or "clip art"
soft and curve lines ... not hard and straight lines
figurative and representative... not literal and exact

Please review our postures document in the project brief for more suggestions. Thanks!

Hi. I just uploaded a document to the project brief outlining our style and preferences for yoga postures. If you are including a yoga posture in your design, please review this document.

    Thanks!

Hi, here are some general comments to consider:

    1. The logo should not be "cute". For example, if you are including a yoga pose, it shouldn't be of a young, curvy, cute girl.

    2. Bringing out the brand element of connecting as one with ONESELF and connecting as one with the WORLD is very important

    3. If you are including a yoga pose, I prefer the softer poses that exudes "awakening", "letting go", "spirituality", etc... Some examples include child's pose, king pigeon, crescent pose with a mild back-bend, samasthiti, etc... Hands in prayer positions and head bowed down or head looking up works here. Please stay away from "harder", more "rigid", more "fitness-oriented" poses.

    4. please review the logos document that I uploaded to the project. In particular, the last two pages of the document contains many logos and logo styles that I like.

    Thank you!!

However, if you are providing 2 or 3 different color versions of the same logo in one draft, please make sure that if the particular draft gets finalized, each color version should be separated before you will send the final files.
