Describe who/what this design is about

It's a technology blog focusing on technology news/updates but mainly on gadget reviews. I've got good relationships with big vendors such a Microsoft, Creative, Dyson, SteelSeries, HP, JVC, Razer, etc so if you win, your logo might be displayed on their official sites if they decide to put my reviews on.

So far Creative (http://au.creative.com/) has put my current logo in a few pages + their newsletter. SteelSeries.com plans to put mine up too for their latest headset review.

I'll also make a post about this if your logo is chosen and will link to your homepage or any portfolio you'd like as a thank you.

Please go to the blog's URL (http://www.cravingtech.com) to see the current color's layout. I'd want the new logo to match with the overall theme of the site. So try imagining your logo on the top to see whether the color matches :)

I want the logo to be able to be separated with the tag line (some vendors want a short big logo on their product reviews page, not a long banner!). Don't focus too much on the tagline as I might change it in the future.

Feel free to expand an idea from the current logo but a fresh new logo of what you think convey the site is the best choice.

If possible, want to have a logo + the word Craving Tech underneath or around or be creative.

To all new designers, I'm in the process of finalizing my design based on #18 and #22, so I don't really want to waste your time submitting a new draft :) Thank you to all who participates, really appreciate the effort. Wish you can get some sort of small payment for what you did I'm planning to make a post and link to this page anyway so hopefully some people will contact you when they look at the talent you've shown here :)

Hm perhaps anyone wants to try a new concept? (rather than orbs-looking one?). I'd love a bit of meaning behind the logo or memorable, than just simply look cool Maybe a light bulb of some sort (innovative?) or a box overflowing with gadgets or something (since my site focuses much on gadget reviews)

I'll try to respond via private message to each design if I'm interested to see it evolved further. It'll reduce clutter Wish mycroburst can install a commenting system per draft. That'd be awesome

To the designers: - Note that the design is also opened for "non-techy" or "non-futuristic" feel as long as it's elegant. So far the designs are good though and not too futuristic - Since the site is actually focused a lot in gadget reviews, I thought of having a silhouette of a person (man) using a magnifying glass, bowing down and looking into pile of gadgets through the magnifying glass. But I don't know whether it'll too complicated looking as a logo though

@jaggu: Love both designs. The fonts chosen suit really well too. @raindesign: I eliminated #4 because I'd love to have a logo, not just texts :) thanks. Like your #3 design though but I wonder whether the blue will match the brown theme on the site
